Video clipping
Split videos by scenes, fixed duration, or equal parts and download MP4 clips or a ZIP.
Video clipping splits existing footage into independent files. Processing runs in the browser without signup or credits; the source is not uploaded to PixMind storage.
Input and output
Use a browser-readable MP4, MOV, or WebM file, up to 100 MB and 120 seconds. Output clips are re-encoded MP4 files, downloadable individually or as a ZIP. This is not lossless stream copying.
Modes
| Mode | Setting | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Scene changes | Automatic cut analysis | Ads, tutorials, or montages with visible cuts |
| Fixed duration | 1–120 seconds per clip | Uniform-length source organization |
| Equal parts | 2–20 clips | Dividing continuous footage into a set number |
Steps
- Drop in a video and check its preview and duration.
- Select a mode; enter duration or count where applicable.
- Start splitting and wait for output clips.
- Preview each clip, download selected files, or download a ZIP.
Common questions
Why does scene mode return one clip?
When no clear cut is detected, the complete video remains as one clip. For a continuous shot, choose fixed duration or equal parts.
Why does the first operation take time?
The browser loads its processing engine before reading and encoding footage. Keep the page open and avoid processing several large files at once.
Can I analyze or generate from the clips?
Use downloaded clips as inputs for Video to Prompt or video remake.
