VII. ST Speech Therapist Job Responsibilities
1. Comprehensive Speech Function Assessment
Responsible for professional assessment of children's language development, articulation function, oral motor skills, swallowing function, and comprehension and expression abilities.
2. Develop Specialized Speech Rehabilitation Programs
Develop individualized training plans for language delay, articulation disorders, oral motor weakness, and communication disorders.
3. Standardized Oral Motor and Articulation Training
Conduct basic speech training such as breathing exercises, lip and tongue movements, oral motor activation, and pronunciation correction.
4. Enhance Children's Language Communication Skills
Conduct training in vocabulary accumulation, short sentence expression, conversational interaction, and social language comprehension and expression.
5. Ensure Swallowing Safety Intervention
Provide specialized rehabilitation training and feeding guidance for children with dysphagia to mitigate feeding safety risks.
6. Improve Rehabilitation Training Records
Diligently record training processes, child performance, language progress, and standardize the archiving of rehabilitation data.
7. Dynamically Optimize Training Programs
Timely adjust training goals and content based on children's language progress.
8. Actively Participate in Professional Research and Teaching
Actively participate in case discussions, professional training, and speech rehabilitation exchanges to accumulate clinical experience.
9. Persist in Proactive Learning and Improvement
Proactively learn cutting-edge techniques in articulation correction, aphasia intervention, and children's social language rehabilitation, continuously enhancing professional competence and the ability to handle complex cases.
10. Serve Children with Dedication and Patience
Provide gentle and patient instruction, scientific and professional intervention, and fully assist children in overcoming language communication barriers.
