Use the quality-focused version as your starting point. For lower-cost drafts, open Flash from the version cards. The generator shows the controls and total credit estimate for your selected model.
Keep the version explicit when comparing results. The same prompt and references make differences easier to judge.

Image LayersSeedream is ByteDance’s image generation and editing family. PixMind has routes for 5.0 Pro, 5.0 Flash, 5.0 Lite, 4.5 and 4.0 in the verified workspace. This hub brings their inputs, output controls and version links together.
Start with Pro when image quality is your main priority, Flash when you want lower-cost visual exploration and repeated edits, or Lite when you want to continue a Lite workflow or work with up to 14 reference images. Compare the same brief rather than changing every input at once.
The checked PixMind routes allow up to 10 reference images for Pro, Flash, 4.5 and 4.0, and up to 14 for Lite. More references are useful only when their roles are clear. Identify which image defines the subject, composition or style.
The checked 4.5 route lists 2K and 4K; 4.0 lists 1K, 2K and 4K. Pro and Flash list 1K, 1.5K and 2K, while Lite lists 2K and 3K. Do not carry a resolution claim from one version over to another.
Each model has its own pricing item and resolution rates. On the checked route, Flash uses 35 credits for 1K or 1.5K and 50 for 2K; Pro uses 70 and 150 respectively. Pro and Flash add 10 credits per reference image. Review the total estimate after selecting the version and adding references.
Yes. Keep the subject, composition, lighting and exact poster text unchanged for an initial comparison. Then adapt the prompt to the selected version. When using several reference images, state what each image contributes and what must stay consistent.
Use the original image again, request one change and list the details to preserve. Remove conflicting references and separate background, color and text edits into different passes. Compare each revision with the same source image.
Layer decomposition is a separate workflow and has separate pricing. A version supporting image editing does not mean a normal image task produces editable layers. Open the Image Layers tool and check its selected model and per-layer estimate for that task.
Use clear reference photos you have permission to edit, reuse the same subject image and describe the details that should remain fixed. Change the scene or crop separately. For product imagery, compare the silhouette, packaging text and colors with your source photo between revisions.
Start with Pro, explore with Flash or continue your existing Seedream workflow. Keep the source images and brief ready for the first generation.
